"...years before i became an addict, i would go to parties, and once in a while there was cocaine around, people slipping into bathrooms in twos and threes, and like that. not often, just sometimes. but when there was, i would love it up, snort it like crazy, outdo everyone else. that's what marks the difference: most people will do a few lines and move on. addicts, or potential ones, will make it a complete activity."
